Our first field trip this year is to the Boston Science Museum.
The Science Museum has so many exhibits from your body, all the way to electricity! Here’s a video from some of the videos I took.
Omni Theater:
An omni Theater is a big movie theater screen but instead of looking forward you have to look up.
It’s really cool, but you might get a little dizzy! (me)
In the omni theater we saw “The Ring of Fire” which is about valconos
and the tectonic plates. I believe we saw this because in science we learned a lot about Earth’s crust and tectonic plates!
Omni theaters make you feel like your right at the scene it’s playing.
Exhibits:
The exhibits are all AMAZING! One of my favorite exhibits was the DNA Lab. We got to learn a lot about DNA. I got to see my DNA through a microscope. And my friends in my group got banana DNA bracelets! I also loved the Playground room because
you got to see how fast you ran, how high you jumped, and how much you could push. If you visit Massachusetts I recommend you visit the Boston Science Museum!

Hi Taite!
My name is Frederic Robinson, I’m a college student from Mobile, AL. I currently attend the University of South Alabama. I’m married to a wonderful wife named April and I have a beautiful daughter named Carli.
I recently read your latest blog about the Boston Science Museum. It seems as if you had a bunch of fun, as well as learned about a lot of cool stuff! I would love to here more about electricity in the human body. It also seems that you seen a lot of cool animals. I’m a huge Animal Planet fan, are you?
I will be writing a summary about this blog into my personal blog in the near future, about my visit to your page. Again, it was a pleasure visiting your page, and I’ll talk to you later.
Dear Fredric Robinson,
Thanks so much for commenting on my blog! I checked out your blog and it was interesting!
In the science museum they have an electricity show and a man does cool tricks with electricity!!!
I love animal planet! My favorite shows on it is Dogs 101 and animal cops! Thanks
again!
Sincerely,
Taite B.
hi taite,
I watched your video and I’m interested in the electricity show.
Dear Wafiy,
Thanks so much for commenting
and visiting my blog. It means so much to me.
When the Electricity show was about to come on my group decided we didn’t want to see it,
but a few years ago I went to spend the night at the Science Museum with my girl scout troop and we saw it.
It was amazing, the man who runs it has volunteers come up and interacted with the crowd. Thanks again for commening.
Sincerely,
Taite B.
Hello Taite! My name is Travis Snyder! I’m a student in the University of South Alabama I’m in a class called EDM310. I get assigned to other people’s blogs for this class every week and I was assigned to your blog this week! I must say, the video presentation you made was put together well and I enjoyed watching it. It has good music, smooth transitioning and even the story it tells brought back many wonderful memories of when I was back in grade school. I had fun with field trips, and it definitely looks like you did too! Did you have a good time at the Museum of Science in Boston? Did you learn a lot?
Dear Travis Snyder,
Thanks for the comment! It’s funny because a man named Fredric commented on my blog too
I can’t wait until I’m your age looking at other kids blogs
I think you guys might be in the same class!!!
remember back to when I was there age on field trips and doing various other projects. I learned a lot about
DNA at the museum and I love my 2 adventure to the museum. I definitely will go back. ( not to the omni theater though)
Thanks so much for commenting on my blog!
Sincerely,
Taite B.
Dear Taite,
I’m so glad to see you added on to your post! I added a link to it in our class blog post about the science museum. That’s how all your posts should look!
I’m glad you enjoyed the trip (minus the being dizzy in the Omni Theater part). It’s nice that we get to go on three field trips this year. Usually we only have an opportunity to go on two! The last two are going to be a lot of fun as well!
Sincerely,
Mr. Avery

Dear Taite,
This is Taylor’s mom.
The Boston Science Museum is one of my family’s favorite places to visit. I have a son that is in 5th grade and is really into science. Ever since he was about 5, he has been able to give us a tour of the museum. We try to visit at least once a year but it feels like it has been a while since we’ve visited. The last time we went, we also treated ourselves to a Duck Tour that starts at the museum. What fun! Boston is one of my favorite cities. I can’t wait to visit with the family again. By the way, Taylor says hi!
Have a good time learning,
Miss Millie (Taylor’s mom)
Dear Taylor’s mom,
Thanks so much for commenting on my blog it means a lot to me and I’m sure it means a lot to Taylor as well.
I have been to the science museum before the field trip with my girl scout group for an over night and thought it was
wonderful, but the only thing I have to say was at the bottom of my list is the Omni Theater! I felt sooooo dizzy! (not a lot
of fun) But thanks again….I was curious if Taylor has a skype???
Sincerely,
Taite B.
